Who, What, Where, When, Why and How (2009)
Video installation of 'Who, What, Where, Why and How'
In installation form this piece is presented as a single channel video projection with two synced teleprompters. The teleprompters show the script that is simultaneously spoken by the actors, but they also show the source of each fragment of speech (which the actors do not speak).
The teleprompters and video projection are positioned facing each other, so the gallery visitor sits between them.
Consequently the gallery visitor has two experiences of the work:
Watching the actors flowing, forceful delivery on the projection screen
OR
turning round to see the teleprompters with script flowing up them with the source of each fragment of speech embedded in the script.
