Jones attacks orthodox religion. Referring to it as a stench in the nostrils, and later calling those who follow it the fishes and loaves crowd.
 
The sermon moves on to address racial and class oppression in the US. With the first mention of the Promised Land.
 
At this point Jones political position is clearly seen for it's radical anti-capitalist and anti-racist stance. Most references to religion are dropped and the US is portrayed as a fascist state. The home of big brother.
